    A Ceffyl Dŵr appears as a pale, magnificent horse beside Welsh lakes, waterfalls, and mountain pools. It allows riders to mount before lifting into mist or racing toward deep water, sometimes dissolving beneath them at the greatest height. Unlike a common predator, it seeks pride and carelessness: the person who assumes every beautiful animal exists to be owned.

    Special Attack

    Mist Gallop: the Ceffyl Dŵr carries one adjacent creature up to 40 ft unless that creature succeeds on a Quick save. It may carry the victim over water or a drop.

    Special Defense

    Ask Before Mounting: anyone who approached without reins and asked permission is immune to Mist Gallop. Iron placed gently on the ground bars its path; iron used as a weapon does not.
