    A prehistoric bear far larger than its modern kin, lord of the deep caves where it dens and hunts in total darkness. Its bones litter the tunnels of everything that came before it.

    Crushing Bite: piercing, melee 5 ft, +1 to hit, 2d8+5 piercing. Claws: slashing, melee 5 ft, 1d10+5 slashing. Maul: against a prone or held target its claws deal an extra 2d8, cooldown 2 rounds.

    Ferocity: the first time it drops to 0 hit points it instead drops to 1 and fights on for one more round. Cave Dweller: sees in the dark and fights unhindered in cramped tunnels. Senses: Keen Smell.
