    Cath Palug is a monstrous cat raised from ominous beginnings and grown into a terror of warriors and coasts. Its paws strike like siege stones, its hide turns ordinary blades, and it hunts with the confidence of something that has already survived famous champions. It is a storied predator whose name became a warning to warriors and coastal settlements.

    Special Attack

    Champion-Rending Claws: slashing, melee 10 ft, +7 to hit, 4d10+6, twice against different targets. A creature struck twice in one round falls down. Warrior's Dread: a creature that misses Cath Palug in melee makes a Mind save or moves 15 ft away and cannot approach it again before the end of its next turn. A successful save resists both effects.

    Special Defense

    The Water's Edge: Cath Palug will not willingly enter deep water. Driving it beyond the last dry stone removes its DR and prevents the second claw attack.
