Camazotz is a death-bat power associated with the night house, sacrifice, and the sudden severing of life. It descends as a humanoid bat large enough to fill a temple chamber, carrying blades of bone along its wings. Camazotz seeks the moment between vigilance and sleep, when a guarded neck becomes briefly unguarded. Mirrors and continuous watch deny that moment.
Special Attack
Decapitating Pass: slashing, 60 ft line, creatures make a Quick save. A failure deals 5d10 damage; a creature already held or unconscious instead takes maximum damage. A successful save avoids the damage. House of Bats: when Camazotz first falls below half HP, a living darkness fills a 40 ft radius for 3 rounds. Creatures within it can see only 5 ft unless an ally is holding reflected sunlight.
Special Defense
No Unwatched Neck: while every creature is watched by an awake ally, Decapitating Pass deals half damage. Reflected sunlight removes Camazotz's DR and prevents flight for 1 round.
