Bucca

A Bucca is a Cornish spirit of mines, coasts, and working places. It is heard tapping beyond a tunnel wall or seen as a weathered little figure carrying a lantern where no passage was cut. Food left respectfully earns warnings before a collapse; mockery, theft, or wasted ore earns false knocks that lead workers into flooded shafts.

Misleading Knock: creatures within 40 ft make a Mind save. Those that fail cannot determine the direction of allies, exits, or approaching danger for 1 round.

Miner's Courtesy: bread and a portion of the day's first food halt its attacks while terms are spoken. A tool used carelessly or wastefully gives the Bucca +2 AC until its owner sets the tool down.
