Boggart

A boggart begins as the small wrongness in a house: milk tipped over, blankets pulled away and footsteps where no board should creak. Attention feeds it. Arguments give it a voice, fear gives it a shape and an attempted exorcism often gives it a new room. No two witnesses describe the same creature because the boggart borrows whatever each household already dreads. Families defeat one by refusing its performance or by leaving the house together and never inviting it to follow.

Borrowed Fear: one creature within 30 ft makes a Mind save; on a failed save it is frightened for 1d4 rounds and the boggart appears as what that creature fears. Household Blow: bludgeoning, 30 ft, +3 to hit, 1d8+2 as furniture, crockery or tools fly from their places.

Fed by Attention: each round in which two or more creatures speak to, threaten or argue about the boggart, it recovers 1d6 HP. Complete silence prevents Borrowed Fear. If every living resident crosses the threshold together without looking back, the boggart cannot follow unless someone names or invites it.
