At a distance, a bison herd looks slow enough to walk around. Panic changes it into a moving wall. One animal can crush a person beneath horn, shoulder and hoof; a frightened line of them can erase a camp. Bulls defend space with short charges, while cows close around calves and force intruders to choose between retreating and being caught against the herd.
Special Attack
Herd Charge: bludgeoning, melee 5 ft, +3 to hit, 2d6+3. If the bison moved at least 20 ft in a straight line first, the target makes a Tough save; on a failed save, it is carried 15 ft and knocked down.
Special Defense
Living Wall: while another bison remains within 5 ft, the bison gains +1 AC and +1 Mind. A clear route away from the herd ends pursuit, but fire or loud magic may panic the animals and make their movement less predictable at the DN's discretion.
