Bean-nighe

A Bean-nighe is a solitary washer seen at a ford cleaning blood from the clothes of someone soon to die. Her webbed feet and long hanging breasts mark her as something other than human, but she avoids direct violence unless interrupted or mocked. A careful traveler may approach from behind, claim a traditional request, and ask whose garment she washes.

Washed Name: one creature within 40 ft makes a Mind save. On a failure, the next attack that hits it before dawn deals an additional 2d8 damage.

Three Questions: a creature that approaches without being seen and succeeds on a Dexterity Chance Roll may ask three questions. The Bean-nighe answers truthfully, and Washed Name ends if the questioner changes the foretold circumstances.
