Basajaun

A Basajaun is a shaggy giant of the Basque forests and high valleys, taller than a person and covered in hair except around watchful eyes. It warns shepherds of storms, teaches useful crafts, and drives predators away from flocks. Trespass becomes dangerous when hunters waste animals, steal guarded grain, or mistake an unwilling teacher for a beast to be captured.

Shepherd's Staff: bludgeoning, melee 15 ft, +6 to hit, 3d8+5. A target is pushed 15 ft and makes a Quick save or falls down.

Guardian of Useful Things: returning stolen livestock, seed, or tools ends its hostility. While defending animals or workers, it gains +2 Tough but will not pursue anyone leaving the valley.
