    A Bakezori is an old straw sandal that has awakened after years of neglect. One eye opens above a long tongue, two wiry arms sprout from the straps, and it bounds through the house shouting fragments of work songs. It resents waste and careless ownership, but its revenge begins with noise, missing footwear, and bruised ankles, escalating only after continued neglect.

    Special Attack

    Strap the Ankle: bludgeoning, melee 5 ft, +2 to hit, 1d8+2. A Small or Medium target hit by the strap makes a Quick save or falls down.

    Special Defense

    Mended and Paired: repairing the sandal and placing it beside a matching shoe ends its hostility. While standing on clean woven matting, it loses its DR and cannot use Strap the Ankle.
