By day the adze passes for an ordinary person. At night its hunger slips free as a firefly-bright shape that enters through cracks, feeds on sleeping blood and leaves sickness behind.
Special Attack
Blood-Light: the adze becomes a Tiny flying light and moves through any opening wider than a coin. Drain the Sleeper: piercing, melee 5 ft, +4 to hit, 2d6+2; a sleeping or unconscious target takes an additional 2d6 damage and becomes weary.
Special Defense
Two Bodies, One Hunger: while in light form, ordinary weapons deal only 1 damage to it. If trapped inside a sealed bottle, jar or room before dawn, it returns to human form and loses this protection. Naming the human body aloud forces an immediate Mind save; on a failed save it changes back.
