Winterquarters Coat

Felted wool over riveted scales, cut long, the skirts scorched at the hem from too many nights spent close to a fire.

Weather does not reach the wearer or up to eight companions gathered with them: rain, snow, wind, and cold pass over the coat as though it were a roof, and all of them rest fully without fire, tent, or shelter of any kind. Anyone within ten feet of it stays warm enough to sleep on bare ground.
