Wayfinder Circlet

A narrow band of pale, almost colorless metal rests lightly around the brow, with a single dull stone set near the temple rather than at the center. The stone has no sparkle, but when the wearer turns toward a familiar passage or threshold it seems to grow fractionally heavier against the skin.

The wearer always knows the direction of the last threshold they walked through and roughly how far away it is.
