Plain brass, with a second and smaller ring soldered inside it, so it always sits doubled on the finger.

Each charge lets the wearer carry out one task they have watched another person perform, as though they had practised it for a year. When depleted the inner ring still turns freely, and the wearer never forgets a gesture they have watched twice.
