Rod of the Crowned Heart

A dark bronze rod ends in a crown of six blunt points surrounding a blood-red stone. The gem reflects no outside light, glowing instead from somewhere beneath its surface; when fear or pain closes in, that inner glow deepens until the bearer can see it through closed fingers.

While held, the bearer gains +15 maximum hit points and +2 Mind saves.
