Nightporter Circlet

A broad band of blackened iron circles the brow, with a small brass ring hanging at the back to tap softly against the skull. The ring moves even in still air when something approaches a guarded boundary, and sleepers wearing the circlet often dream of doors opening long before they wake.

Nothing crosses a doorway, gate, or camp boundary within 30 feet of the sleeping wearer without waking them, and the first creature to try is held at the edge for one round, able neither to come in nor to withdraw.
