    Effect

    Whenever a charm, command, or compulsion would take hold of the wearer, whatever its source, one ordinary possession of theirs crumbles to salt and the compulsion fails instead. A wearer carrying nothing they can spare is not protected, and the clasp draws tight on the wrist whenever they are being lied to.
