Dull pewter, stamped with a face that no one can describe afterwards, though everyone agrees they have seen it before.

While the wearer carries no drawn weapon and does nothing to draw notice, every stranger reads them as a servant, guard, or onlooker who belongs wherever they are standing. Only someone who already knows them by name sees otherwise, and anyone who looks away forgets the face at once.
